Questions people ask before they get in touch
What do you actually need from me?
Your business name, what you do, the suburbs you cover, your contact details, a logo if you have one, and some photos. If you do not have words for the site, tell us about the business in a few sentences and we write it from there.
How long does it take?
Launch sites usually go live within 5 business days of receiving your content and deposit, Grow sites within 10. The slowest part is almost always waiting for photos, so send them early.
Is hosting included?
Yes. We set your site up on a hosting plan with a free tier that comfortably covers a small business site, in an account that belongs to you. There is no monthly fee unless your traffic outgrows it, and we will tell you before that happens.
Is the domain included?
Domain registration is separate, usually around $20 a year for a .com.au, paid to the registrar in your name. We handle the setup and connection at no extra cost.
Do I own the website?
Yes. The files, the domain and the hosting account are yours. If you ever move on, you take everything with you.
Do you set up email addresses?
We do not sell email, but we connect the one you choose. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 are the usual picks; we set up the records so it works.
Can I make changes later?
Yes. Small changes are quoted as a one-off from $60, or covered by the Care plan at $49 a month, which you can cancel any time.
Where are you based? Do you only work with Gold Coast businesses?
We are on the Gold Coast, Queensland, and work with businesses anywhere in Australia. Everything happens over email and a phone call or two, so distance does not change the process or the price.
What happens after I send the form?
We reply within one business day with a fixed quote and any questions. If you are happy, you pay a 50% deposit, send your content, and we start.

A small Gold Coast studio that keeps things simple on purpose
Your Local Design is a Gold Coast web studio that builds fixed-price websites for Australian tradies, cafés and local service businesses. It is a small team that quotes, designs, writes and builds every site in-house, so the people you email are the people doing the work. There are two packages, Launch at $1,490 and Grow at $2,490, both including GST, hosting setup and the domain connection. A Launch site goes live within 5 business days of receiving your content, Grow within 10, and you own the files, the domain and the hosting account from day one. The studio works with businesses anywhere in Australia over email and a phone call, and replies to every enquiry within one business day. Ongoing changes are optional: a Care plan at $49 a month, or one-off edits quoted up front.
