Terms of Service

These terms apply when you engage Your Local Design (MMC Worldwide Services Pty Ltd, ABN 64 660 373 624) to design, build or maintain a website. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Quotes and payment

Every job starts with a written quote for a fixed price. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. A 50% deposit is due before work begins and the balance is due when the site is approved and before it goes live on your domain. Care plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the paid month.

What you provide

You supply the content: business details, logo, photos, and any text you want used. You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us. Where you ask us to write the text, we write it from the information you give and you check it before it goes live; you are responsible for the accuracy of claims about your business, including prices, licences and qualifications.

Timeframes

The delivery timeframes published on this site count business days from the day we have both your deposit and all of your content. Delays in supplying content or feedback extend the timeframe by the same number of days.

Revisions

Each package includes the number of revision rounds stated on the pricing page. A revision round is one consolidated set of changes. Changes that go beyond the package scope, for example additional pages, are quoted separately before we do them.

Ownership

When the final payment is received you own the website files and the content of your site. The domain and hosting accounts are set up in your name from the start. We may show the finished site in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Hosting and third parties

We set your site up on a third-party hosting service in your account. Their terms apply to that service. We are not responsible for outages, price changes or policy changes made by hosting, domain or email providers, but we will help you respond to them.

Cancellation and refunds

If you cancel before we have started work, the deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel after work has started, we keep the part of the deposit that covers work done and refund the rest. If we fail to deliver what was quoted, you are entitled to the remedies set out in the Australian Consumer Law, which may include a repair, replacement or refund.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question.
